The return of plastic logic

We've heard countless times the stories about flexible eInk, yet the products have never materialized. Will this be different? |

It looks like these have to be tethered to work - a no-go for me. but looking at it, I can't think where they could put the batteries - unless we get flexible batteries next.

I believe those are just the prototype.
Every flex screen ive seen this early in production has always been attached to the cables this way. It doesnt mean the final product will be, just easier to show how flexi bendy stuff is this way. |

So to deal with eMail, we need three of these. Not going to fly.

Plastic Logic is a terrible tease! They always show these cool prototypes then disappear.
Maybe they should try to go after the 6" ereader market. They can't seem to compete with tablets at the larger size. I would love a 10" eink type reader; I just don't want to pay $400+ for one. |

A 14,2" display would be fun.

People should be allowed to feel proud of where they went to school, just as they should be given leeway to express pride in their point of origin (Vancouver, in my case).
