Jameson, Malcolm: The Big Book of Malcolm Jameson Stories (2019), v1
Malcolm Jameson (1891-1945) had a brief 7-year career as pulp writer, and he contributed to Amazing, Unknown, Weird Tales and Astounding. His major series was "Bullard of the Space Patrol", but he also created a short series about "Anachron, Inc", a company which traded goods back and forth through time (just the thing to give archaeologists serious headaches!) and wrote novels, too.
This anthology collects 28 of his lively and enjoyable stories. It was compiled from etexts of individual short stories prepared by Roy Glashan for Roy Glashan's Library, a publisher of free ebooks in the Australian Public Domain. The Anachron Stories 1: Anachron Inc. 2: Barrius, Imp. 3: When is When? Bullard of the Space Patrol 4: Admiral's Inspection 5: White Mutiny 6: Blockade Runner 7: Slacker's Paradise 8: Devil's Powder 9: Bullard Reflects 10: Brimstone Bill 11: Orders 12: The Bureaucrat And other Stories 13: Alien Envoy 14: The Anarch 15: Chariots of San Fernando 16: Children of the "Betsy B" 17: Doubled and Redoubled 18: The Giftie Gien 19: Joshua's Battering Ram 20: Murder in the Time World 21: Not According To Dante 22: Philtered Power 23: Pride 24: The Sorcerer's Apprentice 25: Stellar Showboat 26: Train For Flushing 27: Tricky Tonnage 28: Vengeance In Her Bones This work is assumed to be in the Life+70 public domain OR the copyright holder has given specific permission for distribution. Hello Pulpmeister, I'm a great fan of your work. Great ebooks, indeed! But same etexts are the work from Roy Glashan and me. Almost all digital texts from O'Brien, Yerxa and Jameson are our scan & ocr project in the RGL. Yes, the stories are in the public domain - but it would nice to refer to Roys great Library, where you found that stuff. Greatings, Matthias

Hi Matthias: and you are right of course.
I've been making ebooks from PD sources to my own style and for my own use for years, never intending to post them anywhere, and so never developed the habit of including details of the source text in the file. I know Roy Glashan is scrupulous about credits. Henceforth, I'll adopt the practice of always placing the source directly under the publication date, even if the ebook is not intended to be shared later. And I'll re-upload the three collections, amended accordingly. By the way, you may know me from Roy Glashan's Library by my actual name, Terry Walker. Source of the de Brune books, some Peter Cheyney, and so forth. Best Regards Terry (Today's predicted maximum temp 39 degrees c.) |

Hi Terry,
thanks for you friendly answer - no problem, you'r welcome to merge our projects in ebooks with a little hint to RGL. I have shared some of your ebooks in the yahoo - pulpscangroup with thanks to you. I admire your skill and your taste and enjoy many of your ebooks here. Matthias |
