Fast battery drain

I have the latest version of the Pocketbook Touch Lux 5 (PB628) and, while I usually charge the device every two weeks, I had to charge it twice last week.
The battery drains in a rate of 15% per hour!

Also, It takes too much time for the books to be deleted from the Main Menu.

Is it possible that these problems are related to the new firmware?
Does anyone else have the same problems?
