Standoff by Australian-born author David Rollins (SYKM) is a military espionage action thriller involving some kind of drug cartel conspiracy, apparently 6th in his Vin Cooper series starring a US Air Force OSI agent, free courtesy of publisher Pan Macmillan Australia's Momentum imprint.

There's no indication at the Momentum official blog as to how long this promotion will last, but generally they've been pretty good at keeping things available for a decent length of time.

Currently free @ Amazon (available to Canadians and in the UK), Kobo & iTunes (both available to Canadians, and the Kobo version is DRM-free), and also directly from the publisher (DRM-free ePub/Mobi bundle requires filling in your personal info, may be available worldwide as I didn't have a problem getting it from Canada).

This should probably also drop @ B&N (likely also UK, linked for your price-drop-check convenience) at some point, like the other recent Momentum freebies.

And this has been the selected 3rd (non-repeat) free ebook thread of the day.

It's nice when publishers offer stuff DRM-free, especially when they're imprints tied to major publishers, at that.
