New PDF output page size

Hi Kovid,

I notice in the release notes for Calibre 2.83, it says:

PDF Output: Default to generating PDFs with a page size of letter instead of taking the page size from the output profile.

Would it be possible to have a default of "A4" available, too? As you know, the world outside the US uses A4 as its standard paper size, not Letter.

Just change it to whatever you like in Preferences->Output Options->PDF A4 and lots of other sizes are avaible there as well.

'Letter' size paper is widely used in Mexico, Canada, Philippines, and some Central and South American countries.

I wonder if the UK will go back to its old paper sizes, some Brexiteers want to revert to £ s d, so why not the old paper sizes of double-elephant, foolscap, quarto, imperial, dukes, etc. . . A4 and B3 etc are awfully boring.

This setting is actually very old, the default value comes from back when over 80% of calibre users were in the US.
