Epup -> Mobi für den Kindle

Muß doch mal gezielt fragen: womit und wie konvertiere ich ein (DRM-freies) epup nach mobi?
Es soll nach der Konvertierung genauso gut aussehen wie das epup.
alle Umlaute, Blocksatz, verwendete Fonts.

Fast vergessen: Interessant ist natürlich auch rtf, doc in mobi.

Mit Calibre.
Das ist DIE Software für den mobilen Leser. Solltest dich also unbedingt damit auskennen, insbesondere wenn du einen Kindle hast.

pdf -> epup mit calibre gefällt mir schon garnicht. Die pdf's schicke ich lieber durch den Finereader und erstelle ein rtf.

rtf -> epup mache ich z.Zt. mit Atlantis. Dazu habe ich calibre aber jetzt länger nicht getestet.

Für PDFs kann ich den Mobipocket Creator empfehlen, der macht eine ziemlich gute Umwandlung, und du hast direkt Mobis, für Epub kann ich mich phili nur anschliessen,da liefert Calibre sehr saubere Ergebnisse

auch RTF nach epub/mobi geht mit Calibre gut.

Ich habe vor kurzem auch mal das epub Plugin für OpenOffice ausprobiert, das funktionierte auch zufriedenstellend, aber Calibre ist, wenn man nichts mehr nacharbeiten möchte, völlig ausreichend.

Hi - wie erzeuge ich denn Mobis mit dem Programm? Bei mir kommen immer .prc-Files heraus. Oder muss ich die nur umbenennen?

Soweit ich weiss ist *.PRC (Palm Resource file) das Ursprungsformat,es ist erst später in MOBI umbenannt worden. Die PRC Files musst du nicht weiter bearbeiten, die sollte dein Kindle auch so fressen, zumindest klappts bei K4PC

Ich kann das leider nicht bestätigen. Ich habe in HTML Verse in einer Tabelle stehen. Die Tabelle ist zur Seite (horizontal) zentriert, aber innerhalb der Tabelle ist der Text linksbündig. Calibre macht mir bei html -> mobi und bei html -> epub alles linksbündig. Die Tabelle ist noch da, aber steht am linken Rand. In der epub kann ich das von Hand korrigieren, aber epub -> mobi haut es mir wieder nach links. Es ist immer wieder ...

... eine reine Freude.

Benutze kindlegen oder den mobipocket creator. Was anderes nutzt Amazon auch nicht.

Nein, leider nicht. Auf meinem Calibre-previewer sieht die prc so aus: wie in der prc.png. Aussehen soll es aber wie in der epub.png (von den Überschriften können wir hier absehen). Aber weil Du Dir die Mühe gemacht hast, gebe ich Dir trotzdem Karma, wenn Du mir sagst, ob und wie ich überhaupt welches verteilen kann.

Hm, habe dasselbe versucht wie Billi mit demselben Ergebnis, und auch bei mir ist die Darstellung in Calibre verschoben, aber du willst doch auf dem Kindle lesen, und nicht mit Calibre, und zumindest auf meinen Kindle Apps ist die Darstellung korrekt
