Convertir HTLM en EPUB ?

Bonjour,

Tout d'abord, désolé si la question a déjà été posée, car je n'ai rien trouvé dans cette rubrique sur le sujet.

Je n'ai jamais fait de fichier EPUB (certain diront que ce n'est pas bien) et le HTML est vraiment pour moi une langue étrangère.

Comme exemple concret : https://www.debian.org/doc/devel-manuals#menu qui renvoi vers https://www.debian.org/doc/packaging-manuals/menu.html/

Je suppose que Sigil devra intervenir à un moment.

Compte tenu de ce qui précède et sachant que j'ai des documentations en HTLM, comment obtenir un joli fichier EPUB ?

Merci pour l'aide qui pourra m'être apportée.

Personnellement, j'utilise SIgil.
J'ouvre le fichier .html avec sigil et il s'occupe du reste (récupérer ce qui est liéà ce fichier, par exemple).

Salut Randy,

Oui tu peux utiliser Sigil pour créer un ePub, mais tu pourrais aussi utiliser l'ebook-edit qui vient avec Calibre (Kovid l'améliore constamment).

Si le epub que tu veux créer provient d'une page web dont le format est relativement simple, comme dans l'exemple que tu donnes (manuel de Debian), tu n'auras pas trop de travail à faire. Mais si la page est complexe, tu auras certainement des codes à nettoyer/enlever pour que ton epub soit parfaitement fonctionnel, i.e. qu'il passe epubcheck, par exemple, ou fonctionne sans problèmes avec ta liseuse. (Avec Chromium affiche la page source du présent fil: il y a là des codes difficiles à digérer pour une liseuse!)

En effet, même si les dernières spécifications pour ce format datent de 2014 (http://idpf.org/epub/301) c'est la norme 2.0.1 qui domine encore pour la plupart des lecteurs eInk.

Pour savoir comment créer des epub tu peux consulter les infos disponibles ici: http://fr.flossmanuals.net/creer-un-epub/introduction/

En ce qui concerne le langage html et les CSS, tu devrais jeter un coup d'oeil à l'excellent manuel (pdf) créé par Mathieu Nebra pour le site du zéro intitulé Apprenez à créer votre site web avec html5 et css3 au format pdf.

Une autre option, plus simple, pourrait consister à sauvegarder les pages qui t'intéressent au format pdf en passant par un module d'impression (pour Win7 CutePdf ou un autre, sais pas vraiment pour les distros linux, la mienne est cassée .

Bonne chance et, en passant, une connaissance de base du html me semble aussi importante de nos jours que celle de l'anglais

Je confirme que le cours de Matthieu Nebra est excellent et m'a permis d'avoir d'excellentes bases html/css alors que je partais de zéro.

Cela dit, si le texte de base est déjà bien codé, cela doit logiquement aboutir à un epub correct assurant une lecture confortable sur tous les support.

Faire un epub propre est l'étape suivante et peut être remise à plus tard, si manque de temps.

Les deux éléments principaux de la retouche, sans aller trop loin, peuvent être
- retirer le code css du haut de la page html pour le mettre dans une feuille de style
- découper le texte en autant de feuille html que de chapitres

Ensuite avec une meilleure connaissance, nettoyer el code pour retirer les styles inutiles.
