Kindle Version of Terry Pratchett's "Jingo"

Very odd thing I just noticed. I just finished "Jingo" on my Kindle (1), and noticed that at the end, the book begins again at page 1. By that I mean that there are two back to back copies of the book contained within the single file.

I thought it seemed odd that the plot was resolving itself, but it showed that I was only about half way through the book.

Has anyone else read this book on the Kindle? And, if so, is your file also a twofer??

Mine has instructions on building The Bomb, but not another copy...

I too have a "twofer" - very odd indeed!

It's not just the Kindle version of Jingo. The Mobipocket version also has the book duplicated. I just checked my copy.

OK ... that's good to know. I really thought I was losing it there for a second. My second thought was maybe there were two alternate versions of the book, but scanning through the second one, it seems to me that they are exactly the same. Weird.

I'm wondering if other formats such as MS Reader would not have the same error.

Dredging up my old biology classes -- is this a case of mitosis?
Or spontaneous generation?

Or, given the subject matter of the book, of propoganda propogating itself?
