Is it possible to edit metadata in bulk for columns with long text, like comments?

Is it possible to edit metadata in bulk for columns with long text, like comments, not shown in the tag browser?

Don't think so,

But, why would you want to do that?

Maybe to paste a "pro forma" template to be filled in later.

I wanted to use colored tags to some books, now I discovered this, which is nice. But it would be nicer to color the background of the text. The only tool for that - until now - is this kind of column.

@GustavoB

For your future reference - long text columns (including comments) cannot be displayed in the book list, only in book details.

Pleased to see you got a good solution tho' from theducks
