In realtà sarebbe bene parlare inglese dato che è un forum in lingua.
Eventualmente puoi usare i messaggi privati! |

BTW, here is the final version of the dropdown menu...
The drawback is still there, but it looks cool (IMHO!!). Anyway, next release will have also the cover view, so you can choose which to use! In the meanwhile I'm studying how to create a custom menu using Kindle's own system! Screenshots explanation: - first screenshot is taken immediatly after Komic has loaded - second screenshot is taken after having tapped on Torpedo |

I finally managed to open a system menu....
I just need to understand how to populate it! First step would be to display in the dropdown menu parents folder and one-shot comics and in the system menu subfolders. Then I would like to use only the system menu in a way similar to GUI launcher (arrows to view subfolders).... Don't hold your breath!!!! PS I *could* even be possible to replace all the alert boxes with a system dialog (==> remove the welcome popup)! |

Small update....
I'm *mastering* menus! I managed to create a new menu for my "testing application": it is used to toggle wireless connection and orientation. This can be directly ported to Komic to replace the menu page! As regards the dropdown menu, I still need to understand how to create a two-level menu (probably GUI launcher is the place where to look). Otherwise, I'm thinking about using a page similar to the bookmark page of the stock browser! |

Here it is....
Menu is triggered by the same old menu button (not the one in the search bar!!!). The last entry in the menu is the last read comic! Next: change JS's alerts with Kindle's dialogs! EDIT: I'll share a complete guide ASAP! I want to understand first how to use dialogs and, if possible, how to create a two levels menu! Last edited by silver18; 10-25-2012 at 10:42 AM. |

The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced in using the same structure used by the browser for the history page!
It provides a nice and well structured page, entries with a name and two others characteristics (date and address, but I'm going to use only one of them to store the complete path to the folders). It is also easily scrollable and *I think* easy to customize (hide and show subfolders). I need to study jquery now... |

Work's going on...
I changed all JS's alerts with jquery's dialogs. Same for prompts and confirms. We can now get rid of the welcome popup!!! BUT I'm experiencing a strange behaviour with prompts. They worked fine both in landscape mode and in portrait mode. Then, suddenly, they stopped working in portrait mode (komic crashes when I enter the second character in the prompt box!!!) but they still work in landscape mode. Landscape and portrait share the same JS, same jquery and similar CSS (unless page dimensions!!) I'm a bit confused!!! Here's the showlog -f output: Spoiler:
EDIT: Everything seems to work now....it was *probably* related to draggable divs... Anyway, here are screenshots!! PS If I manage to solve this problem, I can go on and try the last thing: change the dropdown menu with a nice new page! Last edited by silver18; 10-26-2012 at 06:55 PM. |

Ok, I'm here again and this time I'm asking for help!
I'm having the problem described above (crash with prompt) and it seems to be related to how Kindle handle layers. If I open a select menu (dropdown menu) then I use the JQuery prompt, Komic crashes as soon as I enter the second character. If I use the prompt before the dropdown menu, no crashes!! Any clue? |
