Which is your favorite app to read?

I've been using Kindle, iBooks, AND Shubook. The disadvantage of Shubook is that when table of contents is long (each name of the chapter being long), it just makes '...' at the end of a certain length, so that you cannot read full text of title of each section/chapters.

iBooks can't have all those chapters for books that have a lot of chapters. It cuts off at a certain point so that you cannot access certain chapters beyond a certain point for books that are of great length.

Kindle is a pain because you have convert all the ePub books into the Kindle files.

By the way, I only read books that are free and downloaded from archive.org, etc.

My favorite iOS app is Marvin, I find it the best by far.

Another vote for Marvin--hands down the best reader for iPad/iphone in my opinion. Great ability to customize view--easy integration with Calibre.

Another +1 for Marvin. Highly customizable, saves all my dictionary lookups, lets me highlight and share, and on and on. But most of all, a highly responsive developer.

Another vote for Marvin. For me, the key is the ability to organize my ebooks. I can sync up with Calibre, sync my reading location between devices, have a reading list, assign books to multiple categories (i.e. my WW II books are in both the history category and the WW II category). It pretty much does everything I want it to (except to manually sort books within the reading list, but hey you can't have everything).

Being able to load my books in Calibre, remove the DRM, put it in a category, then sync with Marvin. It's really nice.

Marvin because it has so many customization options. I do wish it had page numbers like iBooks though.

iBooks. I haven't noticed any problem with long tables of contents, except that it's a bit counterintuitive that you have to swipe up to see the bottom of the list, instead of just turning a page.

Yeah, Marvin, responsive, looks are very customisable, good controls like slide to adjust brightness.

I just tried out Marvin based on the reviews here, and I think it's great so far.
