Bye Bye Netflix

It's time to pull the plug on Netflix. Why? Because the BBC pulled Doctor Who from all streaming services. Prime Video lost it a year ago. Couple this loss with the price increase I'm about to get hit with and I see no reason to keep it. I still have Prime Video.

It's still on Netflix here in Australia, though who knows how long for.

^They probably just won't renew licensing with any services.

I'm still with Netflix. It is the only subscription service I have though. It serves the children well and I watch the occassional thing on it.

Media is saying (unverified) they couldn't come to an agreement. BBC was asking for more than Netflix was willing to spend.

I think Netflix is spending too much money on their original shows.

I also heard that the BBC was planning it's own streaming service and will need exclusivity on big name shows as a drawing card.
