Kleine Frage zu Calibre

Hi

Etwas verstehe ich nicht:

Ich habe ein Dokument 467 kb (odt file - Open Office)
Gleiches als rtf 1320 kb

1 Bild 64 kb
1 Cover 194 kb

als odt gesamt 725 kb - Calibre Ergebnis 3.520 kb
als rtf gesamt 1578 kb - Calibre Ergebnis 3.220 kb

keine weiteren Bilder oder sonstiges drin.
Das ist kein Einzelfall, sondern meistens so - allerdings nicht immer und das vestehe ich nicht.
Gelegentlich ist das odt-Calibre Ergbnis nur geringfügig höher als odt mit Bildern allein.

Wieso werden die Dokumente so groß bzw. wie kann man das ändern?

welches Ausgabeformat benutzt Du? ePub, LRF oder PDF?

Ich benutze überwiegend LRF aber auch ePub. Die Probleme treten aber nur bei LRF auf.

An der Ausgabegröße bei LRF kannst Du nicht viel ändern. LRF ist leider ein sehr kompliziertes und schlecht dokumentiertes Format. Meine LRF's lagen früher meistens ebenfalls zwischen 2 uznd 4 MB, von daher scheint mir das relativ normal zu sein. die einzige Option, mit der man wirklich auf die Größe Einfluß nehmen kann, ist das Einlagern von Schriftarten. Wenn das eingestellt ist (hättest Du aber explizit machen müssen), dann werden die LRF's größer als sie sein müssen.
