Glo HD: remove Bookstore and "Search Kobo"

Hello,

it is possible to remove the "Search Kobo" bar and the Bookstore button on the homescreen?

Hi, you can’t remove the search bar itself, but you can patch it to search in your library first in state of the default kobo store. For the bookstore link at the bottom of the homescreen I think the last answer I read on this subject is "there is nothing you can do about it".

Is this done via a patch or can it be done by editing a .conf file? TIA

Via a patch, found here (in the file libnickel.so.1.0.0.patch). You just have to follow the instruction to apply it.
