Well of course you are the only one. I mean why would anyone own 3 kindles, a kobo and at least 2 tablets. There are many here that own way more devices than we do.

Sure, I have a few. Some that even still work, some that died and some that had accidents. There is only two that are being used - my wife's and mine. Right now it is one Oasis 2 and a PW 3 - on tuesday it will just be 2 Oasis 2 ( both 32 gb, one 3g one not).

Oh snap. Ereader includes all electronic devices that are portable and can do ebooks? Then please add all phones and tablets to it.

A bunch of amateurs. I have almost every Kindle model ever made except the PW1 and Oasis 1, mostly multiple copies. Also several Kobos and several Sony readers, all e-ink screen models as well as a Aluratrk LCD screen reader. Does not include any of my tablets.

I have 6 Kindles, 3 of which are still in use (the Voyage, the Oasis 2016 and the Oasis 2017). I still charge my three older Kindles regularly, just in case, but I don't read on them anymore.
Of course I also have a tablet and a smartphone, but I don't read books on those. |

I have only one, and won't be getting a new one until the old one has completely worn out. Things are much simpler that way.

I got the 650 and the battery finally started to give out. Before replacement batteries were available, I got a T1. Then I got my mother a T1. I got a nook STR on the cheap (about $20) as a backup just in case. The H2O cause out and I decided I wanted one so I got that. I have my mother's T1 as my 2nd T1.
So it's not just about waiting until a Reader wears out. It's about a significant upgrade. |

EDIT: I should add that I do often give away the spare ones. As a matter of fact I think I'm about to adopt out one of my extra Kindle Touches. Last edited by rcentros; 12-10-2017 at 07:13 PM. |
