Calibre books corrupt in Apple Books
After updating to OS Catalina, epubs created in Calibre will import, but won't open. The error message says the book is corrupt. Calibre books already imported into Apple Books open, but newly imported books, even those formatted long ago won't open. Help!!

Known problem, see:
Apple Books on Catalina is not opening any books, not even my own PDFs and ePubs

You will have to wait for apple to fix ibooks or downgrade to mojave. There is nothing calibre can do about bugs in ibooks.
