Curious
In reading posts here I find some people prefer the buttons to turn pages & some the touch screen. Which do you prefer?
I love the touch screen & only do a short flick with my thumb in the lower corner of my 350. I don't do a full swipe across the page. I find this easiest for me. |

I generally use the buttons. The exception is when I want to go back 10-15 pages. Then the swipe and hold, speed page turn, is very handy.

These days, I hold the unit in my left hand, so prefer to comfortably position my left thumb on the FORWARD button. If I have to go backwards for some reason, then I'll flick the screen forward (down) with my right thumb to return to where I was.

Today I'm holding it my left hand, thumb on forward button.
Tomorrow I might do it differently. That's part of what I like, to be able to do it whatever feels best at the moment. |

I use the touch screen only to turn pages. I find it annoying when I have to use the buttons for some menus, like paging through multiple images. I don't have any one way of holding it, depends on where and how I'm sitting, from just resting on my knees without holding it at all, one hand, either hand, to holding it in both hands while on public transportation so it doesn't get bumped out of my grip. It's equally easy to brush either my left or right thumb for a slight movement on the screen to flip the pages.

Hold in left hand, use buttons. The grip and page change movements have changed little since the days of reading on a PDA.

About half the time I use the buttons and about half the time I swipe the screen. Just depends on my mood and how I happen to be holding my reader.

I'm ambilextrous, too. Thinking about it, I realized that if I'm doing something like eating or drinking, I hold my 350 in my left hand and use the button. Otherwise, I tend to hold it in the hand next to the light source. I thumbswipe when reading right-handed, button when reading left-handed.

ambilextrous, I love it! Me too. Sometimes the button, sometimes the swipe. I love to have both options.
