Kobo Clara Colour : How to wakeup the device without pressing the button?

This is my 1st E Ink device. On android for example you can double tap to turn on the device. Is there any similar approach for Clara Colour? I don't wanna press the button for sleep/wake, only for Power off/reboot.
I haven't purchased the cover-case yet but I noticed they wakeup the device if you flip the cover. How they achieve that? And is it possible to do that without their official cover-case?

P.S: Mods please add "Clara Colour" option. I don't see the Prefix option for it, hence added it to the title instead.

The only options are to press the button or use the sleep cover. Sleep covers pretty much always use magnets, so you can technically wake the device by holding a magnet in the right spot for the right duration, but I've never gotten that to work.

Which means any third-party cover-case should also work. Thanks for the info.
Does any of the Kobo device support wakingup without pressing the button or magnets? Or it's the limitation of using E Ink device?
I'm curious if it can achieved with wifi/bluetooth/usb,...not that they'lll be beneficial though. (bluetooth/wifi drains more battery and usb is not the best approach)

Strange, you need only the following:

• Activating feature via Settings > Energy saving and privacy > Automatically sleep and wake up;
• Use the right spot, mostly somewhere above bottom right of screen.

I personally never use a cover and knowing that the so-called hall-sensor which does the trick also consumes extra power, I always deactivate this feature.

It's Clara Colour, no page turn buttons

The best solution (not just for wake) is a sleep cover. Not only does the Kobo wake when you open the cover and go to sleep when you close the cver, it also gets some protection including protection from the sun. Also, the cover makes the Kobo nicer to hold.

The official sleepcover costs ~1/5th of the device on Amazon. But thanks for the recommendation. I'll check if there are cheaper ones available on other sites.

Yes, you can wake the Libra Colour with a page turn button press.

I was underwhelmed with the durability of the offical Kobo covers. I think some of the third party ones are not only cheaper but better constructed. However, not all of them are "sleep covers" so choose carefully.

And I've yet to find a third party cover that does the folding stand thing, sleep, AND has a pen holder that isn't gonna fall off...
