My "main toolbar" is missing the description words
I restarted my Calibre and all the words are missing. Like convert, get books, edit metadata, etc. How can I get them back?

Click on the screwdriver and wrench icon and explore the obvious.

(I have felt like that before. One of the first things I do besides read the README , is explore menus. What can I do with THIS app? )
