Software to convert ebooks to .pdb ???

Could anyone recommend software which will convert lit, doc, txt,html so that they can be used on a Palm Tx. I have a large number of books which I purchased in lit format for Windows but I would like to also load them on the Palm Tx. Will they show up in the library? Any advice would be appreciated. thanks.

Book Designer can make pdb files IIRC.

I would suggest that you download and install Mobipocket Reader for your Palm from http://www.mobipocket.com. While you're there, download and install MobiPocket Creator on your PC. Do a Google search for it, and also download a tool called "ConvertLIT".

Then, for each of your LIT files, run "ConvertLIT" to "explode" it to its "Open eBook" source, then load the resulting ".opf" file into MobiPocket Creator and click the "Build" button to convert the OEB to MobiPocket. Then transfer the MobiPocket book to your Palm for reading.

I installed the Mobipocket Reader on my Palm T3 (while waiting for my Kindle!) and it works great! So go this route; it'll work well.

(Don't normally use a PC so I can't vouch for the conversion tools there.)
