Reviving a dead Kobo Touch?

Boyfriend wants me to load some stuff on his Kobo Touch. He has not used it in over a month. I figured the battery was dead but assumed it would revive when I plugged it into my computer. That was an hour ago and so far, no signs of life. Ideas?

Is the green/blue light on the top of the Touch on? If so it's supposedly charging.

Yes, it is. I just figured it would draw power from the computer and I'd at least be able to load some stuff onto it while I was waiting. I guess I'll just leave it for a bit and try again. How long will it take to charge to a useable state, do you think?

Try unplugging it from the computer and plugging it back in. Now that it has some power it should come up with a screen that will give you an option to continue reading or connect to the computer. If you select connect to the computer then it should let you do what you want.

Maybe put a paperclip into the back to do a reboot (All the books will stay this is a "Soft Reset" so everything is saved)
