There is no SD card in the kindle. I've also installed kindle v 2.4.0 on my PC and the 2 plugins but when I connect, the only thing in my My Kindle Content folder is 1 file book_asset.db not sure how to proceed at this point. ![]() |

First reboot both your computer and the Kindle. If that doesnt help reset the kindle.

By "reset the kindle" what exactly do you mean? like to factory defaults? I had already rebooted my computer and the kindle.

For the record, it has been over ten years since Amazon used the term 'Kindle Fire' for their tablets, and we should not be calling them 'Kindles'.

And ALWAYS they have been really been cheap or nearly subsidised Android tablets with a Kindle App pre-installed and Amazon store replacing Playstore, though I've read that many can be made to use the Playstore too. |
