Savory and Mac-synced Kindle

Hi all.

I just got my dad's 'old' kindle-2, he upgraded to an iPad.

I have a bunch of books that are in the ePub and PDF format and I heard about the program "savory."

Is it possible to use "savory" on a mac-synced Kindle?

If so how?

I've never heard of Savory, but I have a Mac and a Kindle2. If you're looking to convert the ePub and PDFs, I would recommend using Calibre. Works like a charm.

Savory is the conversion program that you can install into the actual Kindle, isn't it?

That program, Calibre, has to be the single most amazing thing that I ever downloaded for my kindle/mac.

Yes, it is. Actually Calibre can do all the work needed. Savory, I have tested it (Savory), it´s quite big, it has the size equivalent of some 20 books and can be used only if you feel technically prepared to do some "under the hood" work. By all means I advise you to stick on Calibre, a great friend to your Kindle.
