Professional and scholarly ebooks account for 75% of ebook market?
A recent study claims that Kindle, Sony and Nook sales of 'ebook blockbusters' are not all they are made out to be, and professional and scholarly works account for three quarters of the ebook market.
What is not clear is the study's definition of 'ebooks' - as an example, Amazon sells hundreds of thousands of PDF/HTML journals, company reports, book summaries etc. but we don't include them in Inkmesh results because we don't think they fall in the ebook category. I wonder if this study includes them in the count. Excerpt from http://scholarlykitchen.sspnet.org/2...a-wide-margin/: Quote:

Most "scholarly journals" have been online for many years. If those are included in the count of "eBooks", it's not surprising that the number is so high.
