Use a CF Type I card?
I bought the wrong type of card (Kingston Elite Pro). After trying to insert it for the past 30 minutes, I realize that this is wrong type of card (Type I) and *gasp* that blank is not for piggybacking.
So question is anyone using a CF I? If so, how do you put it in? |

I'm using a CF Type 1 card in my iLiad. The card goes in with the front of the card facing the front of the device. The card slides in toward the rear of the slot leaving a bit of a gap in front of the card.

XianFox, thanks a lot! I'll try it tommorow.
I tried again this morning and even if it was lined up correctly with the rails, the card has approx 1 mm overhanging in its casing that prevents it from going all the way in. Perhaps I will have to try another brand. Last edited by herbalist; 08-03-2008 at 03:54 PM. Reason: didn't work... |
