Setting "Category" for ibooks in Mavericks
I've read over a lot of messages here talking about the limitations of iBooks in Mavericks.
I don't care so much about the automation of sending to iTunes/iBooks from Calibre, but I really like setting categories on my books. Is it true that there is absolutely no way to influence the "Category" fields in iBooks? Everything I've tried when exporting from Calibre and importing into iBooks leaves me with a blank "Category" field. It is so annoying that iBooks does not allow you to edit any of the metadata, but I was hoping there would at least be a way to set it up on in the epub file before importing. |
