Fully functional Android 2.3.4 for Kobo Touch (N905C) and Kobo Glo.

What's new:

• screen rotation is working! you can read in portrait and landscape mode
• repartitioned - you have 900 MB for books and 500 MB for apps on 2GB SD card!
• resigned from ramdisk - you can edit startup scripts directly on the partition without any troubles
• boot logo updated for Kobo Touch resolution
• Google Play fooled to think this is Nexus S to have access to all applications
• Smart Launcher is the default one
• Tolino updated to 1.2.4 (no crashes, English version - but not everything translated, support for dictionaries) and fixed to fit on 800x600 screen (try it and buy Tolino reader or uninstall it - it is a commercial app and you cannot use it - I forbid you!)
• cleaned up my private data

Here is an app that remembers your orientation settings per every app! My app will detect screen orientation change (except reverse mode) and adjust touch with no problems. You can use it:

This is source code of my app that monitors screen rotation and rotates touch respectively. The same that is used in latest Android image.

I have a problem with it. After some time (or after high memory pressure?) Android kills my app and it stops working. Does anybody know how to fix it? What can I do to prevent it from being killed?

Details:

It registers for configuration change action on boot completed event. And only at that time. I didn't want the app to be resident in the memory. But configuration change cannot be subscribed from manifest. It has to be subscribed from code - so I think it is resident in the memory, right?

I would like to reinstall on a bigger SDcard (32Gb)

The initial image (4go) is:

Unused 15M
FAT32 2.16Go Mein Tolino
ext3 384Mo
ext3 512Mo
ext3 384Mo
ext4 256Mo
Unused 16M

The FAT32 should be enlarged to 30Gb but as it is not the physical last,
How to deal safely with that ?

The ext3 order and/or position must be preserved to boot correctly ?
The partitions ext3 can be physically shifted ?

Or may be simply erase the 2.16Go FAT32 and add a 28Go FAT32 at the end ?
