One handy trick to see how someone added an image, or any other "fancy" formatting in a message is to click on the QUOTE button. This way you can see what had been typed in (and no... you don''t actually have to follow through and post the quoted message).

Because this site doesn't use HTML. It uses "UBB" codes, which are a feature of the bulletin board software that this site uses. They are generally the same as HTML tags, but with square, not angle, brackets.
