Exclamation [solved] Refreshing cover grid

Sometimes I update a cover picture by using the Open book folder option and altering the cover-file directly. When done, the cover grid does not reflect the changes as it has no means (=trigger) to know that something was changed.
I solve this by right-clicking on the cover grid icon (main screen below right), and using Performance > Empty disk cache. Then I select temporary some other library and go back. Thereafter the cover pages are freshly renewed and my change is visible.
My question: is there a quicker/smarter way to get a refreshed cover grid?

Yes, that works great.
However, (there is always an however ) when you have checked "Fit cover within view" and make a copy of that cover and past it on another book it pasts the cropped (= reduced) image.
On the original cover (right below) the full size is indicated, but the cropped size does appears on the new cover.
Obvious solution is to always uncheck "Fit cover within view" when copying.
