Compatible Android Home Screens?

I haven't tried installing a new home screen on my eDGe yet, as I am not sure how the eDGe will handle it. What I mean by home screen, is for example, ADW Launcher, PandaHome, SweeterHome, etc...

Has anybody else attempted to install a different home screen/launcher and does it work correctly? My phone currently uses ADW Launcher, as it has support for really cool themes. These theses would look wonderful on a larger screen.

Link to ADW: http://jbthemes.com/anderweb/

There is a really neat "paper" theme, that would suit a device like this.

I don't know if any of them work correctly, but I am reluctant to add "eye candy" to the edge because of the possible slow down.

I use ADW and love it. From what you mentioned, you should try it. It works very well.

Do you see any lag?

ADW Launcher has been successfully installed on my Pocket eDGe and I am happy to say, it is compatible. You can even add more icons, by increasing the rows and columns. I just made a YouTube video displaying the Launcher and how to revert back to the original home screen, if needed. The video is currently uploading, but I will provide a link very soon. ADW Launcher is more responsive on my eDGe than it is on my phone. Although my phone is a crappy low-end LG Eve, hacked with Android 1.6(originally ships with 1.5). I will post the APK files online for those who want to experiment with this Launcher, as it is only available on the Android Market.

I loaded ADW some time ago and have had no problems to date, although I don't run a bunch of themes. Like Cheyenne I keep that pretty basic. I particulary like the multiple home screens, though. But, since Entourage updated their home screen, I find I'm using it more than ADW now.

Your post seems more like a commercial for dvdtopshop then adding to the discussion at hand.
