How to delete all files of a specific format?

When I use Calibre to transfer a book to my Kobo reader, it creates a file with the extension .kepub and keeps it on my computer (not .kepub.epub as used on the Kobo device; Calibre stores these in its own library as just .kepub).

Of course, these files can be regenerated anytime from the original file (.epub, .azw3, or whatever) as needed -- but I've now got over a gigabyte of these .kepub files now in my Calibre library, and I'd like to get rid of them.

Is there an easy way from within Calibre (so that Calibre will know about it) to delete .kepub files while keeping the library entries for the same book in other formats intact? Many thanks!

Select all books, then from the Remove Books drop-down select "Remove files of a specific format from selected books...", then select KEPUB and press OK.

I have the option set to Alt+Del

Is there any reason you aren't using the KoboTouchExtended driver? That does the transformation from epub to kepub on the fly and doesn't add it to the calibre library. A conversion will be needed if you don't have an epub, but they can be used on the tolino as well.
