Calibre - Python No module named magick

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to post this, so please let me know if I should repost it somewhere else.

Windows 10 64 bit

Yesterday I upgraded Calibre to version 2.69.0.

Now, when I execute the calibre program, I get the message:

Python function terminated unexpectedly
Failed to load ImageMagick: No module named magick (Error Code: 1)

I can't find a calibre log file.

Does anyone know what causes this problem, or any tips on finding out what is causing this problem?

From which version did you the update? Maybe you are using a not updated plugin.

Release: 2.57.1 [20 May, 2016]: Remove the calibre dependency on ImageMagick

I updated from 2.68.0... I just tried to run the 2.68.0 version (I installed the new one to a different directory) and it gives the same error:
Python function terminated unexpectedly
Failed to load ImageMagick: No module named magick (Error Code: 1)

Nope - neither versions run - they both give the same errors as before

Kovidgoyal--
I got the following response running the "calibre-debug -g" command.

calibre 2.55* [64bit] embedded-python: True is64bit: True
Windows-8-6.2.9200 Windows ('64bit', 'WindowsPE')
('Windows', '8', '6.2.9200')
Python 2.7.9
Windows: ('8', '6.2.9200', '', 'Multiprocessor Free')
Successfully initialized third party plugins: DeDRM && Find Duplicates

I am able to start the interactive calibre shell by running
calibre-debug
if that is any help, but cannot find any information on how to use it.

Any ideas?

I got the latest version running.
I had some registry entries left over, so I deleted everything with "calibre" in my registry.
I reinstalled the latest version from the website, and it came up!

So Happy to have Calibre Back!
