Chinese books of mobi or azw3 converted by Calibre cannot select a single word

When Calibre convert epub for Chinese book, the converted mobi or azw3 files in kindle, the selected word will select a paragraph words, cannot select a single word.

Can this problem be solved?

Not as far as I know, selecting words is a function of the kindle firmware not the book.

But I use Amazon's mail conversion feature to convert mobi files to azw3 files for chinese books. The converted azw3 can select a single word. But I use calibre to convert mobi to azw3, but the converted azw3 cannot select a single word.

How to resolve it ? Thank you

Amazon is likely converting it kfx or a specially enhanced version of azw3. If it is KFX you can use the KFX output plugin in calibre, if it is enhanced azw3 then someone will have to reverse engineer whatever amazon is doing to the azw3 files.

So how can I use the Calibre to convert the epub. Make the converted mobi or azw3 can select a one word. Like AZW3 files converted by Amazon email.

I have also noticed this issue. To fix it, you can deliver the Calibre-converted mobi file wirelessly to your Kindle.
