INPUT MAX 3 vs MAX 2 input lag

Hi, a question for people who had the pleasure of using these two models: has anything improved in MAX3 regarding input lag? Or other features that help you use it as a monitor?

Well.. the reason the Max 2 has a bad input lag is because the Max 2 is not a monitor, it is an Android ereader. The more layers you add between your input and your output (in this case, you add Android OS + the monitor app), the more lag you will get.
Therefore the Max 3, Max 4, Max 5... will get the same problem. I know the Onyx boys in the forum won't like it, but it is a fact. Let's hope one day Onyx will follow Dasung steps, and release a real monitor.

I wouldn't want to carry 2 devices for reading and separately for monitor use.

They could just release a dual boot firmware,

1. For Android OS
2. For Monitor Only direct Fast HDMI Mode


I would pay for that function itself

Though, unfortunately, you are failing to quantify, and there is a difference between negligible lag and impacting lag. Second post today on the same.

If there is some information about profiling, post something informative and point to it.

On the ereader side of thing though, Onyx devices are great.

And you have either deliberately or maliciously misread my post: the important piece of hardware, the display, is the same: that the surrounding systems are the source of a lag is something that must be shown with numbers. I have read for years of Dasung and found very little numbers. I want to see them and I want SERIOUS discussion.

You need to be more careful with your accusations. Just because someone in the group likes or owns an Onyx device does not make them an employee of the company. I am not away that there is any employees of Onyx available on our site on a regular basis. Don't attack others on this site. Consider this a warning.
