Exclamation Calibre 4 bugs
When I connect the kobo a bug appears:

CantOpenError: unable to open database file

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\device.py", line 90, in run
File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\device.py", line 513, in _books
File "site-packages\calibre\devices\kobo\driver.py", line 1839, in books
File "site-packages\calibre\devices\kobo\driver.py", line 175, in device_database_connection
CantOpenError: CantOpenError: unable to open database file

I can't read from Calibre what's on Kobo, and I can't send books to it.

Anyone can help?

Ok, I solved the problem.
I was using a USB port of an added USB panel in my case, which has 2 USB 2.0 and 2 USB 3.0. Although I was using USB 2.0 maybe they are not really 2.0.

I canged USB port, using another one not from that panel and it worked.

USB-3 is supposed to be backwards compatible. We all know how often that fails
