Wilde, Oscar: Salome, v1, IMP, 21 Dec 2007.
A play in one act.
Oscar Wilde originally wrote this play in French. It has been translated by Wilde’s lover, Lord Alfred Douglas, to whom Wilde has dedicated it. It is the story of Salome and John the Baptist, treated in a decadent way. I have added a few pictures by Aubrey Beardsley This work is assumed to be in the Life+70 public domain OR the copyright holder has given specific permission for distribution.
