Is Kobo in some kind of competition with B&N on how many sales they can *not* complete before users give up?

I was using a kobo gift card for my purchase. That would make sense if Kobo has been getting hit with bots trying to guess gift card activation numbers.

Makes sense. I haven't exhausted the last gift card I used but will see what happens in the next week or so.
