Question about DRM, SD cards, and sharing

Both my mom and I have a 505, and we have separate accounts (like it that way). Very rarely we'd like to share books. I'm wondering if I load a book onto an SD card (I've never even used one with my 505), then put that SD card on her 505, will she be able to read it, even if it is LRX?

Has anyone tried this?

No, the book and the Reader must be from the same account.

Bummer. Too lazy to give it a shot.

Too much effort for two books that my mom will probably never read anyway

If we had the same taste in books I'd probably just have a shared account, but we don't and neither one of us feels like paying for the other's books.
