Any successful software hacks on cybooks?

Hi,

does anybody know about successful hacks of the embedded linux in the bookeen cybook readers?

I read from other threads on this forum that the sourcecode is provided for some of the cybook e-book readers (it is missing for the orizon at the moment?) but the source is incomplete and cannot be compiled.

Any ongoing project on creating a real open source alternative to the cybooks?

I seriously doubt that the Gen3 400Mhz model (and opus) source is non compilable.
