The best way to download PDF files to Likebook P10?

When I connect the P10 to my Mac, it is not recognized. I need to download a PDF I created to the P10 and am finding that it is not easy to do. Does anyone have any suggestions? (I have tried downloading from Dropbox, but the download fails every time.)

Thank you!

Bert

Connecting the e-reader directly is very important - for me at least. I had some issues early on with my Alita not being recognised by PC but since I bought a new cable it's been OK. Maybe concentrate on the Mac to e-reader connection via cable first?

Zip the pdf as small as possible then unzip it on the P10 then retry Dropbox or maybe even a wifi transfer program I use WiFi Transfer File Pro, which sets the P10 as a server with an IP address.

I have installed "android file transfer" on my mac and it's ok for the file transfer between mac and likebook P10. https://android-file-transfer.fr.uptodown.com/mac

Ways to transfer files to the likebook p10

I have been able to use MS OneDrive and Google Drive. I never have to plug in my P10 to my computer. It also comes with a file transfer app, but it only seems to allow you to transfer from the computer to the tablet. It is totally wifi, so you have to be on the same network to be able to use it. It gives you an IP address to type in the web browser of your computer. Then select the files you want to transfer over to the P10. Easy enough.

It's very simple. On your Likebook P10, the App screen wireframe has the "Wi-Fi Book Transfer" option. By clicking there you will see an address to use your browser computer to send the files (pdf, azw, docx, txt, epub, etc) to your Likebook P10, one file at the time. It's only needed that the Likebook and the computer be connected on the same wi-fi network. While you are transfering, you must stay with the Likebook showing the screen with the address.

I prefer “WIFI transfer” on my P10W. As long as you set same WIFI on your PC and ereader, then will work. The transfer is easy and fast.

I have a P78, but what I do should work: Install Adobe Acrobat Reader for android, then connect it to cloud drives of your choice. I have all my PDF's on Google Drive, which you can browse directly from within Acrobat. Problem solved.

The original request for advice was 6 months ago so maybe a proposed solution suited Bsimonis. However, it's not acceptable that there be problems connecting Boyue devices to a PC for transfer of files via usb. It's a basic requirement and a small part of the reason Boyue have foundered. I could do this on my android phone easily enough and I'm not much good with that. Everything is over complicated for ordinary e-reader users.
