Books not showing up in kindle touch?!
This problem started showing up yesterday. Before that all new books were showing up. I had put some .mobi books in the documents folder yesterday, but they weren't showing up. I tried restarting but to no avail. The books were showing up in duokan and hacked up reader but i dont know why I prefer the stock reader. The new books were appearing instantly before. HELP!

Also searched a random string and it returned no results meaning all books are indexed

Most likely one or more corrupt ebook files. Remove them all, and add in small batches to locate the problem file.

That, or a corrupt catalog/collections database. There's a couple of threads on the subject.
