Anyone else having this problem? (BV)
Split a chapter Realize (again ) that you forgot that Sigil does NOT split at the insertion point, only at Paragraph end. select the new section, right-click: Merge... Bong! "Malformed file" If you save and reload, you can merge Repeatable on XP SP3 You can merge as long as you have not done a split |

And the door opened. ^Chapter 2 Splitting at the (correct) end is good. BTW Splitting a Div with a break has this 'won't split where you think it will' issue in BV Is it possible to tint the un-splitable block (Similar to what NP++ does on wrapped long lines)? |

That's a bit more difficult. Especially with the current BV being a mess. I'm not certain what the right approach is. Highlighting unsplittable blocks might make the text look a bit messy. Perhaps highlighting the split and prompting only when you ask to split?
Does it split where you expect in CV? Thanks for raising the issue - if there is one person with a problem, there's something worth looking into. The fix made it into 0.5.2 just in time |

Trying to keep a duck on his toes
I will have to test to be sure. But I vaguely remember having to perform code surgery before splitting is successful. I almost always perform splits in BV where I spot 'Logical places' for breaks. BTW I would only expect tinting on the block the cursor was in, not every block. |
