There are titles available in the UK that aren't available here in the U.S. What's interesting is that they aren't always titles that were only published in the UK, or even titles by UK authors. This is particularly true for backlist titles. For instance, David Eddings' "The Diamond Throne" is available from WH Smith, but Inkmesh can't find it for me in the U.S. (If anyone knows where to buy it, and the others in the series, please let me know. Ditto a lot of Dick Francis's older titles.)

Unfortunately, from other people's posts, it sound as though it's more hassle than it's worth to try to buy books from WH Smith or other UK vendors.
