Well, the same author looks to have a number of purely m/m works, if that's what you'd prefer. You can just use this one to judge the overall quality of the writing and see if you like their style enough to buy another.

Alternatively, there's always the DIY approach to smoothing out these little story speedbumps: open up the ePub, do a search/replace on all the gendered pronouns, and pretend you're now reading a three-man orgy.

It turns out this is actually book 3 in the series, according to the ARE newsletter update.

To make up for this error, ARE are offering a 25% rebate on books 1 and 2 "for the duration of the Freebie promotion", which can mean anywhere from until midnight CST tomorrow when this one expires, or for the entire length of the Earth Day countdown.

Anyway, if you've started in on and like this one (or you already had the author wishlisted or whatever), you can get its prequels (though looking at the plot descriptions, they seem pretty standalone with a loosely related shared setting/theme) Purr-fect Seduction and My Purr-fect Alphas more cheaply than you might have anticipated.
