Lightbulb Version of applications on softrooted nook

Via Trook, you can install updates.
But how do you find out, which version you already have and whether Trook actually offers an update or whether you'd reinstall the very same version? (Or even would go back in revision)

Quick recap -- currently, there isn't a standard way to do it, though you can discover it for some apps.

There's also a more focused package manager (a.k.a android market) application being hatched at nookdevs, so please keep an eye out for that when it comes.

Best regards,
-kb
