I had something wierd happen with my Sony 505 the other day. Now I have lost all the tags on all my books except for those stored on my memory card. Is there anything I can do to try and recover them or do I need to delete all the books and reload them with the tags?

Delete the affected books on your device then go to Calibre's Library select those same books and transfer them back to the reader.

I have found that if the 505 crashes while you are reading books off the SD card that the collections associated with books on the SD card are likely to get lost.
