PDF to PDF conversion causes all the text to be aligned to the left

I'm converting a PDF to a PDF in an attempt to change its font size and font family.

The font-family and font size both convert without problems, but all the text is aligned to the left and page breaks between sections are removed, causing it to be a continuous flow of text. For instance, text in the original PDF that are centered on the page are moved to the edge of the left margin, and the blank parts of the page that separates a section change is removed and the text just flows continuously with the next section.

How do I retain the original alignment and page breaks between sections? Thanks.

You cant. All conversions in calibre first convert to htmland that html is then transformed and converted to the final output format. PDF is not a good input format, https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/con...-pdf-documents
