How to finish install KOReader on PW3?

Hello i buy new Kindle PW several days ago and want to install last possible firmaware update, KOReader and disable updates from amazon.

My SN: G090 G1 thats mean i have Kindle PaperWhite 3 (2015) WiFi [Support added in KindleTool 1.6.5] (7th Generation) KPW3. Here the steps which i use:
1. Do factory reset of my device.
2. Install original factory firmware file. I use this

Use update_PW3_5.7.4_initial.bin instead.

5. Than i install last software update update_kindle_all_new_paperwhite_5.8.2.bin from amazon site

6. Try to make disable downloading updates & disable installation of updates using update_disable_ota_X.X_k5_install.bin & update_disable_upd_X.X_k5_install.bin from here http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?s=&sh...ost&p=29065877
but Update kindle item is not avaliable after disconecting from PC. Also after recconect Kindle i dont have those bin files.

Now i make steps 1-4 and immediately 6 and have same problem. Can someone with expierence help me, what i made wrong?

That is correct, recent versions of the Kindle firmware are very picky about which update_*.bin's they accept.

(Basically, they check the source/target OTA min/max versions, which means every time any firmware update is released, everything would have to be rebuilt with KindleTool.)

Just install all new hacks with MrPI (MobileRead Package Installer). As recommended by the jailbreak instructions.

Your big mistake was trying to mix different sets of instructions from different sites (even though the sites have members in common).

You now have two choices:

• Follow our instructions, completely, including the update blocking; see:

  Those directions we support here.
• Get your support help from 4pda.ru

Please to understand, there has been a tremendous amount of time and effort put into our directions by many people to ensure they are trouble free.
And a lot of time has been spent supporting our own work.

We can not support the work of other sites here.
Their mistakes (including failure to update packages) must remain their own.

Looks like i have big progress here.

- I stay 5.7.4 firmware version install Kual, kual_helper from here https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=203326

- Install Koreader from here https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=209276 . Test most of formats work fine but have problem with big PDF files about 50 Mb (freeze).

- Intstall MobileRead Package Installer from here https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=251143 after that kindle stop delete *.bin installlers from mrpackages folder even from reboot kindle.
- Try to make 6 step from 1st post using mrpackages folder and Kual -> Helper+ -> Install MR Packages. But dont not sure thats work fine because i dont see DISABLE_OTA file in the root folder.

- Also i install Kindle Menu v. 1.7b from here https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=225860

I must been in the airplane mode all the time? There is a risk to take update from amazon and lose all installed software, hacks, etc?

for answer problem that i dont find your manual first. It have more pluses:
1. 4pda recalls on the almost all links from manual on mobileread.com
2. English is the international community is bigger and find help easier

You are lucky you did not try to follow one of the Chinese sets of directions.
There are a lot of bricked kindles in China now.

It looks like you have a lot of things working.
But be careful of updating to 5.6, 5.7, 5.8 firmwares - a lot of those things will stop working on newer firmware versions.

(but you can always downgrade again )
