How do you manage your book wishlist?
Mostly out of curiosity.
I mostly just have a bookmark folder full of links, and also use the wishlist function on Kobo and Amazon. It's a bit of a mess, really. |

... I actually never thought about using Calibre to manage it.

I colour code my entries in Calibre as you can see in the image...
Purple = Stub file and means book to purchase Red = eBook I have, but am yet to still fix and read Green = ebook I have fixed and read. |

I don't keep a wishlist anymore. When I did years ago, I kept bookmarks in Chrome in a separate folder.

I wish it was cleverer (I'd like to be able to sort by author or series or something, and it pages via javascript rather by link making it its paging behaviour inconsistent with the rest of the site); and I think it would become really painful to use if you had more than a couple of hundred items. In recent times Kobo has been sending me emails when a book on the wishlist comes on special, so that's been good. (When they first introduced the wishlist that was not happening.) |

Exclusive library in calibre where I search if they have appeared at any of my libraries, marked if I'm going to purchase and so on... All empty books.

For the last couple of years, my wishlist looks like screenshots in my gallery or rarely a list in my Notion...

Wishlist at Amazon. Most of the series I read, I have the authors in ereaderiq, so if a book I'm missing goes on sale, I'll get a notification via email so I can usually snag it then.

I use ereaderiq and Amazon's wishlist. If it doesn't go on sale, I generally don't buy it except with an Amazon credit. If it's Baen, I just buy the next book when I'm ready to read it.

I keep my Want to Read booklist on Goodreads. I rarely buy books anymore, tend to use the library mostly but will buy things I want to read over and over, or that I can't get through the local library or ILL.

I still have so many books to read, that the few ones I would REALLY like are on my regular wish list.
Otherwise I tend to keep my 'to read' list on Goodreads as my wish list. |

I have an Amazon wishlist with something like 70 categories just for books (mostly eBook, sometimes both print and eBook). Perhaps I have gone too far?...
My lists include everything from classics to horror to ghost fiction to SF/fantasy to domestic suspense to BookTok favorites to books about books. Some categories have just a few eBooks, and others might have dozens or (ahem) hundreds. At least a couple of lists have more than 1,000. Maybe I should export my wishlists?... Just in case?... |

With my wallet. It’s not something I’d advise doing but it does make it easier to manage
