The Thin Man - Similar?

I did try to search here first, but I can't figure out how to make it search a phrase instead of the individual words.

Can anyone recommend a book or book series with a similar setup to The Thin Man - A husband and wife team who do investigations of any kind? I know Nora wasn't really an investigator, but she's part of the story.

There's Annie Laurence and Max Darling in Carolyn G Hart's Death on Demand series. They are not married in the earliest books but they are a tight team in all.

That's a good one, thanks!

If anyone knows of any others, please let me know.

The "Paul Temple" series fits:

They began as radio serials with books coming later.

The Bulldog Drummond stories remind me somewhat of The Thin Man.

Laurie King has written a series of books about Sherlock Holmes and his wife, Mary Russell. They are quite good.

Amelia Peabody and her husband Emerson are archeologist/detectives in Elizabeth Peterson's Amelia Peabody books. There are 170r 18 books in the series.

You might like the Mr. & Mrs. North series by Richard and Frances Lockridge.

I think that they were published in the Saturday Evening Post. Later it became a radio and then a television series.

I adore the Paul Temple radio series by Francis Durbridge ... but they were written as radio serials, not books originally.

And, duh!, about Laurie King: I happen to be reading Locked Rooms right now and it didn't occur to me that it qualified! LOL! Good fun so far!
